Overview

The Trend RS/JIG is a real problem solver. With a whopping capacity of 400mm width, it allows you to surface or flatten timber wider than most thicknessers can accommodate. It offers small workshops without a thicknesser the ability to begin processing boards or preparing slabs using only a router. It is a perfect solution for flattening shorter or irregular shaped work pieces, easily and safely. It takes any router fitted with a 30mm guide bush and doesn’t require a fixed sub base. The router is supported by twin 12mm diameter stainless steel rods that glide along rails on either side. The jig allows smooth longitude and lateral movement. By using your router’s depth adjustment you can finely control the cut. The router can be fixed on the rods to run parallel to the bars for trenching. All the RS/JIG requires is the construction of a simple platform base. In the box: 4 rails, 2 steel rods, router base plate and 16 fixing screws. Maximum router weight: 7kg.
