Rhododendron Keleticum is a garden shrub that produces dense mounds of dark green foliage. Alongside this, small clusters of funnel-shaped, purple flowers bloom in Spring. Small red markings appear from the centre of each flowerhead to add an extra burst of colour. Its habit is known for being almost prostrate. The evergreen foliage ensures the plant gives off year-round interest, meaning its flowering is always joined by the perfect contrast. This plant is ideal for adding a burst of colour into a pot or container on its own. It is also an attractive way to complement other flowers within bedding, borders or plant displays. Rhododendrons are low maintenance shrubs. Place them in partial shade. They will tolerate most soils that are kept moist and well-drained.
