A native shrub of China, Jasminum Nudiflorum or Winter Jasmine is a popular garden plant due to its flowering habit, blooming bright, star-shaped yellow flowers in the winter which provide some much-needed colour in the cold weather and herald the coming spring. The long, trailing branches retain some colour even during the winter months, with deep green stems giving this jasmine the illusion of being evergreen.
