Konami Digital Entertainment breaks new ground with an original spin-off from METAL GEAR SOLID V titled METAL GEAR SURVIVE. This title introduces a fresh spirit of exploration, unique mechanics and strategic co-op gameplay.METAL GEAR SURVIVE is a survival action game in an alternative universe. In a struggle to survive, and understand this new environment, players engage in both a Single Play and connected CO-OP Play. Strong themes, that play throughout the popular Metal Gear franchise, include warfare, politics and science. Blended with nuclear connotations, lengthy cinematic scenes and interesting storylines, these themes have kept Xbox One players hooked for some time. In the form of Metal Gear Survive, Xbox one owners can now play a multiplayer, co-op Metal Gear experience. Taking place directly after Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Metal Gear Survive sees surviving soldiers removed from their known reality via wormholes and dropped into an apocalyptic world inhabited by swarms of hostile creatures. The ultimate goal of this action-adventure game is to resource raw materials and valuable items in the alternate universe that can be salvaged to return to reality whilst fighting the enemy and exploring the open world. Despite the fact this co-op Metal Gear addition is best known for multiplayer mode, single player is of course still available for the solo gamer. For fans of Metal Gear Solid V, this mode incorporates powerful and stealth-ridden gameplay aspects, with an added element of strategy and crafting, collecting resources, creating your own kit and ammo to survive. Headless creatures called Wanderers inhabit the mist-covered world; some of these zombie-like enemies wear body armour and sport a glowing crystal spike instead of a head. Whilst Wanderers, as you might predict, wander the alternate reality, Bombers are a second type of creature that are top-heavy in look and deadly in nature as they explode once they reach their target. So, precise and tactical combat is essential, particularly when ammo and weapons are in short supply. CO-OP mode allows you to choose between different characters, bearing various weapons to suit your preferred style of play. Tactically complete intense missions as a team, such as Interceptor Units and Defensive Unit missions which play a crucial role in the CO-OP gameplay. Defend outposts by strategically placing units on the map, and use firepower, traps, fences and sandbag barricades to ward off deadly creatures. Metal Gear Survive promises you an intriguing and powerful gaming experience.
