The unique Pininfarina Prima pen writes by paper oxidation which is the reaction between the metal tip and the paper during friction which causes a mark to be made on the paper.This writes a precise line like a pencil, and uses an ethergraf nib made of alloy (anodised aluminium) that needs no ink or refill. Simply write normally and your writing will appear. The collection has been inspired by Leonardo da Vinci who used to design his projects with a stylus from pure silver tip, called the indelible mark. Pininfarina creations are the modern heirs of this ancient method of writing art.
