Designer pendant lamp La Cloche with bell-shaped shade La Cloche presents itself in the typical folding technique of the luminaire manufacturer LE KLINT from Denmark: the traditional craft of cross pleating of lampshades is still carried out manually by excellent pleaters. This handicraft technique is still not present anywhere in the world - except in Odense. The decorative bell shape also gave the pendant lamp its name La Cloche (the bell). The white plastic shade radiates the light of the illuminant used both directly downwards, which creates a homogeneous illumination of a dining table, for example, and through the material all around into the room. The design is by the French industrial and interior designer Aurélien Barbry, whose career began with the famous French architect Jean Nouvel. Barbry has worked for Georg Jensen, COR, Menu and Normann Copenhagen, among others. Today, he works from Copenhagen. With La Cloche he created a new classic design for the LE KLINT collection.
