Swirl 3 a twisted designer pendant light in white The handmade Swirl 3 designer pendant light was created by the Danish industrial designer Øivind Slaatto, whose lighting creations are mostly inspired by nature. If you look at the hanging light more closely, you will be reminded of a swirl, as the name suggests, or a snails shell. The lampshade is made of plastic elements in a twisted shape. This means that, as well as having a unique appearance, it creates very special lighting with interesting effects when the light streams through the gaps between the layers. The designer pendant light was manufactured at the Le Klint factory in Denmark, a lighting manufacturer that has a long tradition and is known for its handmade lampshades produced using a unique pleating technique. In 1943, the lighting company was founded in Copenhagen. As well as new series of lights, creations from the early years of the company are also still produced to this day.
