Large pendant luminaire Classy 640, sustainably manufactured with cardboard shade The large, bellied shade of the pendant lamp Classy 640 consists of individual cardboard strips that have been joined together by hand. The spirally arranged cardboard strips create a special effect and the cardboard appears very rich in contrast both in its form and its colouring. The light gently escapes through the spaces in between, creating a cosy lighting effect. In the production of the luminaire, special emphasis was placed on sustainability. For example, the cardboard strips, which were obtained from wood from responsibly managed forests, were glued with a fully biodegradable adhesive and all materials required to manufacture the lamp were made from renewable raw materials. All residues that arise during the manufacturing process are 100% recycled. Energy efficiency class: A++
