Pendant luminaire Lazy with spherical shade made of cardboard strip Think Paper, a Dutch design luminaire manufacturer that also produced the Lazy series of luminaires, specialises in the production of sustainable luminaires with a unique character. In the production of the luminaires, great importance is attached to sustainability and only materials are used whose residues arising during production are 100% recyclable. The shade of the pendant lamp Lazy was worked almost in the shape of a sphere. It consists of individual strips of cardboard, which is made of wood from responsibly managed forests and was designed by hand. When arranging the cardboard strips, great importance is attached to a harmonious, straight running nuance. The cardboard strips have been glued with a fully biodegradable adhesive. The fine spaces created by the different thicknesses and corrugations of the cardboard strips allow light to flash through and create a harmonious atmosphere in the room, while at the same time effectively setting the shade in scene.
